Roseville Summer 2007 Photo Safari

Photo by Austin Taggart, Age 10

WHAT:

Get together, spend a few hours out and about shooting photographs of Roseville (why Roseville?). No boundaries, no limits - take some interesting pictures - step out of your personal comfort zone and click that shutter!!! We'll get back together (on a different day) and see each other's work (we may get together online). There are many options - you choose. You can go solo or with a group. This is an experiment, so don't expect complete organization!

Here's where I got the idea (see idea #2 for what I am thinking of): http://photojojo.com/content/photo-projects/3-ideas-for-urban-photo-safaris/

And another site for ideas (ours will not be a contest like this one): http://www.urbanphotosafari.com/contestant.html

REQUIREMENTS:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A SEASONED PHOTOGRAPHER TO JOIN IN!!! Kids, friends and family are fine The idea is to get out, brush the dust off your camera and creativity and meet some new people and see some new things. If you have friends who might be interested, please forward. Have them email or phone me with questions.

OTHER:

Why Roseville?
Why not? We have to pick somewhere and Roseville has plenty to offer - wide open spaces and parks, quaint downtown, large malls... OK, so we are missing the eclectic people and culture. All the more challenging!
